2013 review

Wow, what a day.

Over 100 eager riders assembled to move off to our secret paint up area nearby and strip down and let go of all the issues regarding body image. We were keen to spread the Road Safety message in a fun but serious way too.

The prepared route soon took to the wind as riders embraced the sunshine and seaside, and we extended the path to include more of the beachfront and even to Station pier to see of a few cruising boats. After crashing the BikeFest parade, with the cheers of onlookers all along Bay st we then took at lengthy detour to StKilda and Luna Park. The total was just over 20km of smiles.

1000s of onlookers cheers and applauded, most taking photos and video of the event. We even had over a dozen passerbys strip off and join in the ride for such a great cause.

Returning to the start we all agreed that the new location was a great success and everyone is eagerly looking forward to next ride.

Pictures will be online soon. Check back (next week).

We were luckly to have GettyImages join the ride for some international photos. Some of the images have appeared globally.
